It can be mounted straight due to its hinged SMA(M) or RP-SMA(M) connector which comes as standard.
This antenna performs very well in free space, making it an ideal solution in areas where there may
be no ground plane.

be connected to the ground-plane of a device to radiate efficiently. On the other hand, the unique
cylindrically rod housing makes it better coordination with a device, thus avoiding a common problem
to slim-line PCB antennas causing seriously detuned by connecting to a device.
